My senior year at Fenn is here. I have been anticipating this moment since the fourth grade when I opened my car door and stepped foot on the Fenn campus; beautiful and surrounded by large, robust white buildings, and towering Oak trees. It did not take long to know that I would be spending my days with people who would deeply care about me and who would be a part of my years at Fenn.
I understand the implications that Fenn seniority has. I, along with my fellow classmates, will be counted on to set a positive tone for the rest of the student body. Individually, and as a group, we will be granted more freedom both inside and outside of the classroom, and will be expected to handle it responsibly. We will be counted on to mentor the younger students, and to actively engage in all of aspects of Fenn. Equally important will be the memories that we will make and the bond that we will form as a senior class.
I cannot control every aspect of what will take place this school year, but I can control my actions and my work ethic. Achieving academically and athletically is important to me, but this year, I will also try my hardest to slow down and take in the moments, and to be the best person that I can be.
This is the beginning of my senior year at Fenn. I anticipate an exciting year with many adventures and successes. When graduation comes in June, I hope to have conquered my time at Fenn with boldness, and newfound wisdom that will propel me forward in my years to come.
