Snowstorm

The snow is not quite "dumping" in Concord yet. The report only 1-2 inches; which is pretty depressing  in anticipation of a snow day this week.
Winter is by far my favorite season. The look of snow on the old pine trees, and the feeling being inside in our warm, fire heated houses brings joy to me every time around this time of year. I can imagine putting on my pajamas, drinking a cup of hot cocoa and hiding under the blankets of my warm bed like a little kid, as the smell of smoke from the fire downstairs fills the house with a nice aroma.  Nature truly brings out the childish joy in me that overtime diminishes. It is in these cold months where my heart is the warmest.
